Welcome to Pedal 'N Paddle, located at Ching Young Village in the heart of Hanalei. Our store is known for our friendly staff, affordable rentals, reasonably priced merchandise, and with the addition of Hanalei Hat Co. the North Shore's largest selection of locally designed hats!
Pedal 'N Paddle is one of the longest running rental shops in Hanalei and the one-stop shop for all your beach gear needs in the stunning paradise of Kauai, Hawaii.

Founded in 1981, nestled in the picturesque town of Hanalei, our small family-run business was born out of a love for the ocean, the sun, and the sandy shores of the North Shore. We are dedicated to providing visitors to Kauai with the highest quality beach gear to enhance their beach experience and create lasting memories.

At Pedal 'N Paddle, we offer a wide range of premium beach equipment, from snorkel sets, beach chairs, and umbrellas to beach cruisers, boogie boards, paddle boards, surfboards, and more. Our gear is carefully selected to ensure comfort, safety, and enjoyment for all beachgoers, whether you are a seasoned water sports enthusiast or a first-time visitor to the island. We also rent camping gear for your journey to the sacred Kalalau Valley.

A Family Affair
Scott Olson owned the store for many years before officially retiring in 2023 and passing the reins to his niece Marissa.
